THE BAND
Playing together since 2007, we provide a fresh, modern approach to the classic ceilidh, combining traditional with the not-so-traditional. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, but happy to travel throughout the country as well as overseas, we mainly provide music for:
In ceilidh band mode, we offer everyone's favourite dances from the Gay Gordons to the Orcadian Strip the Willow. All dances are clearly explained with step-by-step instructions, so everyone can join in on the fun. As well as ceilidh dances, the band also offer folk-arrangements of popular covers, ranging from Kings of Leon and ACDC, to Mumford and Sons, Coldplay and Calvin Harris. A member is also an award-winning DJ, if you also require a DJ set as part of your evening. THE REST As standard, we provide a high-quality PA system and lighting rig (all PAT tested of course) and are more than happy to set this up before the event, resulting in your evening running that bit smoother. We aim to please with sound, ensuring quality rather than volume, so no one is left with sore lugs after a great night. Lastly, we all have degrees in music, so a certain level of professionalism can be guaranteed. |

Summer 2017
Well that's the band in full summer wedding season mode and we've already hit every corner of Scotland, as well as a wee stint down in England! The weather hasn't quite been playing ball, but that's certainly not dampened our spirits, and it's been fantastic playing at some simply stunning weddings! That's us back from a much deserved break after a rather hectic holiday season and we're all set for 2017! Although a bit of a downer if you're into economics, 2016 was a truly awesome year for us, with ceilidhs across every corner of Scotland, as well as some foreign ceilidhing which is always great fun.
With weekend slots nearly completely sold out 2017 is looking like a very busy year, but we're really looking forward to it. There is a very small number of dates available for 2017, and more for 2018, so please as always feel free to fire us an enquiry. We have also been busy producing a ceilidh video shot entirely in 360 degrees, which makes for some interesting viewing! This can be found on our Youtube channel as well as our Facebook. 
AUTUMN 2016
After a busy summer period we're now playing some fantastic fall weddings and gigs throughout Scotland, playing in some very stunning venues.
We recently had the pleasure of performing a lovely wedding through in Glasgow, where Josh and Hannah performed during the wedding ceremony playing a specially requested 'Hoppipola' by Sigur Ros for the bridal entrance. A very unique choice and it fitted perfectly! As well as seemingly playing in every corner of Scotland, the band are also just back from a brilliant time away performing at a wedding in Dieppe, France. It was a pleasure seeing a lot of ceilidh-newcomers (many of whom couldn't speak English) getting involved in the ceilidh dancing and the evening was a great success! 
SUMMER 2016
That's the band now in full-swing wedding season and it really has start off with a bang! Already the band have ventured to every corner of Scotland performing at some fantastic weddings in some quite simply breathtaking locations. Recently the band have travelled to the likes of Dunbar, Peebles, Fife, Aberdeen, and are just back from an epic journey out to Campbeltown which was great fun! The second half of this wedding season sees the band performing in our hometown of Edinburgh, as well as a number of weddings throughout Scotland, as well as a very exciting international booking just confirmed - stay tuned.. Although there's plenty of things to keep us busy over the coming months, we are never one to turn down a chance to perform - fire us an enquiry and if we're free, we are there!
