ABOUT US: The band have been together since 2007 and have had the pleasure of performing across all corners of the UK and throughout Europe. We provide a fresh, modern approach to the classic ceilidh - combining the traditional with the not-so-traditional. The band are deeply rooted in Scottish folk music but take influence from a variety of sources. The band are currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are available for local and international bookings. |

OUR MUSIC: Our music is best described as a perfect combo of traditional Scottish folk music and modern, chart-topping tunes. In ceilidh band mode, we offer everyone's favourite dances from the Gay Gordons to the Orcadian Strip the Willow. All dances are clearly explained with step-by-step instructions, so everyone can join in on the fun. For our modern twist, we keep the Scottish trad instruments the same - Fiddle, Guitar, Drums, Vocals - and perform modern tracks in a Scottish folk style. We draw inspiration from a wide variety - Mumford & Sons, the Killers, Avicii, Calvin Harris, even Faithless! Have a listen. Our music is enhanced by professional-grade sound equipment and we are comfortable playing to 100, or 1,000 people. More the merrier. |
